Reaching Out

Reaching Out at First Church means serving Jesus Christ through mission, sharing God’s love, grace and peace.

Mission means serving others as educators, health care workers, pastors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, camp counselors, engineers, visitors to the sick and those in prison, athletic coaches, musicians, computer specialists, organizers, lawyers, youth workers, food providers -using God-given abilities to serve Jesus Christ.

Of course, First Church members can’t perform all these tasks. But we can, and do, support tasks of service by prayer, financial support and active involvement.
