Finding your Place
"Is First Church the place for me? It seems so large. How will I ever get acquainted?"
You may ask yourself these questions at some point. Be assured that the folks at First Church genuinely welcome you and will do all they can to make you feel at ease.
Here are some good ways to start getting your questions answered:
- Attend Sunday morning worship and be sure to sign the visitor pad.
- Note the events described in the Sunday morning bulletin.
- Stay a while for the coffee hour after worship.
- If you have children, bring them to the Sunday morning program for kids their age.
- Pick up a copy of The First Epistle, our monthly newsletter.
- After the coffee hour, visit the Adult Forum.
- Enjoy singing? Try singing with the choir.
- Visit a small group that looks interesting to you.
- Visit our web site often.
Small Groups
Many adults find enjoyment with participation in one of many small groups. These groups are open to anyone, member or not. They meet at different times: weekdays, evenings, Saturdays, or Sundays. Learn more about small groups.The Pastors
